Why is recommended to burn a candle for 3-4 hours?

Its good practice to burn candles for at least 3-4 hours to prolong a candle burn time and extend the life of your candle.

What length should I keep the candle wick at?

Candle wicks should be kept at 1/8” to ¼” before lighting.  Candles will burn longer, cleaner and more evenly.

What type of wax is used in your candles?

We use 100% soy wax in all our candles.

Do you use essential oils?

Yes, we use high-quality, clean fragrance oils that are specially made for candles and contain essential oils.  In addition, all our fragrances are phthalate-free.

Do your candles contain dyes or other additives?

No, our candles are natural soy wax and essential/fragrance oil only.  No dyes are used, and we use all-natural ring-spun cotton wicks free of metal and lead. We do not put any parabens, paraffin, phthalates, or sulfate in our candles.

Why does my candle sometimes have a bumpy top after I burn it?

The bumpy tops after burning are quite common with soy wax. It happens when the rate of cooling is inconsistent. Sometimes it will dry with the rough, uneven surface and sometimes it will dry smooth as glass. The good news is that this is a by-product of all-natural wax, and it does not affect the performance of the candle.

Are your candles vegan and cruelty free?

Yes, our candles do not contain any animal products and have not been tested on animals.

Can your containers be reused?

Yes, Yes! Once there is ¼ inch of wax left, remove the remaining wax, wicks and labeling.  Be sure to read our blog with great ideas on reuse.

Where do you get your materials?

We source all our materials from companies here in the U.S.

Where are your candles made?

All our candles are hand-poured, and hand packaged in Kentucky.

What is your return policy?

All sales are final.  If you receive a damaged candle, contact us for a replacement candle.

Do you have a store front I can visit in-person?

Currently, we do not have a stand-along store of our own.  Our company works with wholesalers partners and currently only have an online presence for our small business.  You can also occasionally find us at local vendor fairs.

How quickly will my order ship?

Orders placed Monday thru Friday are typically processed within 24 hours and shipped the next day.  Orders placed on weekends will be processed the next business day.

Currently, all orders (excluding special or bulk orders) are shipped from Kentucky via USPS Priority Mail.  You will receive a tracking number for your order when it is fulfilled. 

By default, our packages do not require a signature for delivery.  If you would like your order to require a signature for delivery, please include this in the “notes” section of the checkout page.

Do you ship outside the U.S.?

No, not currently.

Do you carry wickless candles?

No, however we do carry soy wax “melts” which can be used in warmers.

Do you have local pick up available?

Yes. Be sure to click “Proceed to Checkout“, even if you are using PayPal so you can select the Local Pick Up option. Completed the billing details, unselect the “ship to a different address” shipping and the Local Pickup option will be available to select.
